While staying out our hotel, we hope that you take in the beautiful surroundings that our area has to offer.  During your stay you'll notice  there are many eateries to choose from as well as shopping plazas and gift shops.  From our hotel we hope you enjoy the view of the ocean and the blue sky's that surround our area.  Also, please take note that our location is on the quiet section of town but not too far from all the great amenities that this small area has to offer.

BEACH SCENE

Looking for that one special roller coaster that will light up your day or that memorable ferris wheel, like when you were kids, to enjoy. Well, here at the Charlroy you are only steps away from enjoying a widespread assortment of rides and amusements.  From our hotel you will notice that the boardwalk is only a  block away, not too far but not too close. Just close enough to enjoy what great delights it has to offer. Down on Casino Pier  and Funtown Pier, you'll have wide a variety of roller coasters and haunted houses to choose from, as well as the many stands and arcades. Don't forget what the boardwalks famous for ... pizza and cheese steaks. Also, every Wednesday evening you'll be able to enjoy Seaside Heights' Fireworks spectacular. Don’t forget what our area is famous for, its beaches as well. Every Wednesday and Thursday enjoy free beaches between the piers on the boardwalk. Then again, if you’re not in the mood for the beach, stop by Breakwater Beach, (on the boulevard by Casino Pier) for a different yet exciting water adventure.

AWAY FROM THE BEACH

The Jersey Shore now has it's own baseball team, the Lakewood Blue Claws.  During every Friday night home game, enjoy a wonderful spectacular display of fireworks and other promotional giveaways.  Looking for a fun filled day outdoors, try your hand at golf at one of Ocean County Golf Courses.  If your interested in a sailing, hop on over to Island Heights for the day and enjoy the beautiful breeze on the Toms River with the Nelson Sailing Center or take a stroll down the boardwalk and enjoy the breeze, fresh air and the sites Island Heights has to offer.  Have the kids with you?  Bring them over to Ocean County College and stop by Robert J. Novins Planetarium and take a look at what’s around the corner. Take a peak at their web site to see their upcoming events this summer. In the mood for a little historical sites?  Check out New Jersey Lighthouses, with Sandy Hook and Point Pleasant, Sea Girt and Barnegat even Cape May minutes away from our hotel and definitely a must see.  Also don’t forget we’re only minutes away from everyone’s favorite amusement park and water park , in Jackson Township ; Six Flag’s Great Adventure or Hurricane Harbor.   In the mood for a little more excitement, Atlantic City is only an hour away.  Try your luck out at the casinos, enjoy a show, or stop by the Quarter at the Tropicana.  Dine, shop, party and indulge in the sites and sounds that Atlantic City has to offer. Ladies and families alike will enjoy what our neighboring town has to offer.  The Ocean County Mall and Lowes Theaters are less than 10 miles away.  Also try your shopping shoes out at the Jackson Outlets, only 40 minutes from where we are located.
